Canadian Rap Future Superstars Compilation 2011

Since 2004, Brockway Entertainment has made it an annual mission to compile their favorite 80 minutes of Canadian rap music on the Canadian Rap Future Superstars compilation. Approximately 200-300 copies will be mailed out to key radio, press and media contacts in Canada and the US and an e-mail blast will go out to 15,000 subscribers across North America./n/nSince 2004, Brockway Entertainment has made it an annual mission to compile their favorite 80 minutes of Canadian rap music onto one CD. The "Canadian Rap Future Superstars" compilation series provides up-and-coming Canadian hip-hop artists with an opportunity to have their music exposed to a large market.



The 2008 compilation spent 15 weeks in the top 10 campus hip-hop charts, and ended 2008 ranked #6 overall for the year. Check our more information about last year's compilation here. Submissions are primarily open to Rap and Hip-Hop, but will also consider R&B, Funk and Spoken Word.



Details:

• The 2011 compilation will be released the first week of January in 2011.


• 500-1000 physical CD copies will be manufactured.


• The compilation will be available online as a free download.


• The compilation will not be sold by Brockway Entertainment. The public may order CD copies online for a $5 shipping/handling fee.

• The primary compensation to the artist is the marketing and promotion received compilation CD, providing them with exposure to a broader audience.


• Approximately 200-300 copies will be mailed out to key radio, press and media contacts in Canada and the US.


• CD copies will be distributed for free at music events/festivals.


• Email blast to 15,000 subscribers, which includes over 3000 North American media contacts.
