Carolina rapper Derty Den aka Big Gates is already a household name in the Hip-Hop game and is being described as a true student of the game! Den prides himself on being an official Master of Ceremonies (MC).
Most recently, Derty Den and Block Ent./Bad Boy recording artist Gorilla Zoe joined forces to bring together each's undeniable Rap skillz for the smash hit "Fly Shyt".
"Fly Shyt" is featured on Den's eagerly awaited mixtape "Southern Swagga", hosted by DJ Hitz in conjuction with Stall and Dean. The project is set to be released at the end of May in support of Den's debut album that will see the light of day in the third quarter of 2009.

Den's word play, rich in metaphors and prophetic insight, endears all who hear him -- to him. As a true student of the game Den prides himself on being an official Master of Ceremonies [MC]. Taking the weight of such a title to heart, Den aims to create a sound that amplifies the good in the hood as opposed to showcasing negatives. "I want to show that the south is more than just screaming, yelling and stereotypes."
