Joshua Faris is an unforgettable rock driven solo artist who pours himself into his music that is bursting at the seams with passion and truth. With an incredible live voice accompanied by an epic rock sound with the lyrics of a relentless follower of Christ.
His first single “Before The Foundations” was played on radio stations coast to coast. His second release "Give" is also being played across the country including making it on Life 100.3's Top 20. Joshua recorded his first full length album with Andrew Horrocks (2010 and 2011 Covenant Award Winner Producer of the Year).
Before becoming a solo artist, Joshua joined Avery as lead singer, an experience that really broadened his knowledge of music and sharpened his stage presence. The band eventually went their separate ways however Joshua could not escape the passion he has for music and the passion to shine the light of Christ.
Joshua has always been singing and performing. He is the grandson of a piano teacher and Barber Shop Chorus champion. His mom is a vocal coach and piano teacher through the Royal Conservatory of Music, classical and folk performer and songwriter. His dad is a trumpet, guitar and bass player. When Joshua combined his passion for God and his love and ability in music he found his true joy.
