AM New York: "this indie-rock group has a lush sound filled with classical influences and catchy melodies."

Nick Sansano (Producer of Sonic Youth, Public Enemy and others) said this: "In the musically pre fab short attention span world of pop music, The Middle Eight stands out as fearless musical renegades. They are not afraid to actually write a song, explore sonic places, and skillfully play their instruments. New music from real musicians...how novel."
