Biography

From the ashes of Silence the Satellites, rises The Liar Dies.

The Liar Dies is an aggressive yet melodic band based out of Denver CO. With influences steeped heavily in punk rock and metal. They still have the catchy hooks and melodic sound we have all learned to expect from Silence the Satellites (STS). After a change in lead singers the band also decided to change their name. With a new front man came new material and an even more polished and infectious sound.

Now they have set out to revolutionize the Denver music scene. These five guys love to play the music they write and have the best time possible while doing it. After a few moments of exposure to their music and their stage show you will see why they are soon to be the most talked about band in Denver.

For a band that has been together for a short amount of time, they are tight and people are starting to notice. Thier live show is great. They need to work on thier mixing.. They have a great lead singer but he tends to get buried by thier wall of guitars. They are definately one of the up and coming bands on the Denver Scene.

  After a few months away from the spotlight, Silence the Satellites have returned with a new name, Th...After a few months away from the spotlight, Silence the Satellites have returned with a new name, The Liar Dies. And with the new name comes a new sound that they say will be like "a punch in the face". I'm curious already.
  
  If you remember, Silence the Satellites performed their last show on February 3rd as their previous singer, Aaron, stepped down from the band to focus on family life. In his place, the band have found a new singer, Tom. But with the change, they have refused to lose any momentum stating, "We are kicking some ass, and are very pumped about [it]." Hitting the Denver scene hard again, The Liar Dies have already lined up several shows and completed a number of new originals that will be available soon online.

We currently are working with a 10 song, set list. The order changes with the mood we are in. We cover 2 songs regularly; Rise Against's Ignite and Hum's "Stars".
