I have always been partial to the simplicity and elegance of folk songs- songs that tell stories, songs about love and loss. I have been inspired by Kate Wolf, Lucinda Williams, Dave Carter, Patty Griffin, Greg Brown and many more, and so my own music has borrowed a lot from them (albeit subtly.)

Biography

I am a recent graduate of UC Berkeley in California with a degree in Cultural Anthropology. I have been playing guitar since I was around ten and used to sing with my mom until I decided I was "too old for that kind of thing." Ah, teenagers. Anyway, I kept writing and singing by myself and music has remained a huge part of my life.
