Biography
MAGIC MAMA is an artist, environmentalist, educator and musician who has a unique way of combining these passions to provide entertaining education. MAGIC MAMA performs ORGANIC HIP-HOP and World Beats for the Whole Family. Through her music, MAGIC MAMA delivers an empowering and hope-filled message of love and respect for all and inspires creative thinking and Earth-Friendly actions. MAGIC MAMA's first full-length album "Rodeo deGaia" will be released in October of 2007. Mother Nature is her biggest influence along with her own children and all kinds of music from classical to world beat. MAGIC MAMA has an "ear" for music and a soul full of rhythm which carry her creative lyrics into foot stompin' booty shakin' jam land. MAGIC MAMA puts a new twist on old nursery rhymes while simultaneously taking us back to our roots in nature and inspiring us to discover our own creative abundance. MAGIC MAMA's music appeals to all ages from toddlers to elders; the beats, the melodies and the lyrics are catchy and worth repeating.
An experienced educator, MAGIC MAMA has worked with many youth-at-risk programs, colleges, all levels of grade school students, preschools and families. Instrumentation
MAGIC MAMA sings and plays an eclectic variety of instruments from acoustic guitar to harmonium. MAGIC MAMA provides rhythm instruments for the audience to play along and invites participation throughout the set.
