Biography
Kimmy Jo comes from a small town in Southern IL. She has been a performer since the age of 13, country music continually being her passion. Kimmy is at a turning point in her career, she will be releasing her first original single in May 2011. "We are all pretty excited to get to this point, it's not cheap to play ball with the big boys, she laughs, but I can't wait to gear up for a radio tour!" " I am looking forward to every step that has to be taken!" Kimmy is a high energy kickin' country performer with a rock n roll outlaw edge. She has a down home, soulful, expressive voice, that brings the story behind the lyric to life. Kimmy has a way of making you feel at ease, and her firecracker attitude won't quickly be forgotten. She has participated in Auditions for American Idol, Nasvhville Star, and Americas Got Talent, receiving great feedback from all. Kimmy has opened for some well known artists such as, Buddy Jewell, Jo Dee Messina, Phil Vasser, She Daisy... She is a member of The Illinois Country Music Association, & ASCAP. SHe has a seasoned sound and unique twist on some of the LATEST modern country tunesas well as some of the Classics.
