Biography

Casey Lee Smith (15 years old) is a dynamic and talented young man that is destined to be a musical icon. He skillfully plays seven different instruments (lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, banjo, piano, and drums), but it’s his unique vocals style and his popular commercial songwriting that sets him apart from the rest. He recently released his first CD, titled “Casey Lee Smith” – all tracks were recorded, produced, composed and mastered by Casey himself, and you can now hear several of his original songs playing on the radio all over North America (USA & Canada). On top of performing at a variety of noteworthy venues, including the coveted BlueBird Café in Nashville, TN; the Songwriters Festival (Nashville, TN), Arizona Idol (Glendale, AZ); Country Colgate Showdown (Sholo, AZ); monthly performances at the Satisfied Frog (Cave Creek, AZ) to name a few, Casey has also had special airtime with America’s Got Talent, Hidden Palms TV Series, Entertainment Tonight, and NBC News. Casey is an honor student who’s life revolves around music. His influences include: Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Toby Keith to name just a few.

  Looking at this young person, you wouldn't ever think that there was anything extra ordinary about h...Looking at this young person, you wouldn't ever think that there was anything extra ordinary about him. But there is something very special about this young man. Casey is only 15 years old and plays multiple instruments, writes his own music and lyrics and records himself and masters the music he creates.
  
  In this computer age lots of muciscians are producing their own music - but Casey doesn't use basic computer programs that are included with most Apple computers, he uses music industry standard software. Software that requires him to take classes at Glendale community college in their recording classes. He takes these classes with professionals who have been in the music business for 20 + years and who have their own recording studios. And even those guys don't understand why a 15 year old is number 1 in the class.
  
  This young man certainly has a future in the music industry, whether it's performing or behind the scene and recording.

I play my own songs mostly and to break it up, I'll do some Keith Urban, Josh Gracen, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, John Mayer and some others.
