Kristina Marie and Vita Izabella have created a unique sound with their opposing backgrounds and styles of singing. Vita Izabella is a classically trained singer who has been greatly influenced by the classical and jazz greats. Kristina Marie is a rocker through and through, having been influenced by artists such as Janis Joplin, Patti Smith, and Pat Benetar. Although their voices are seemingly on opposite ends of the color spectrum, when blended together they become one fascinating splash of sound. They have become heavily influenced by each other over the past few years of performing and writing music together. In fact, it is now difficult at times to discern one voice from the other.

In 2001, a chance encounter gave Vita Izabella the opportunity to tour throughout Europe as the harmony singer/background guitarist for the band Blackmore's Night, founded by the legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, former guitarist and songwriter for the bands Deep Purple and Rainbow.

Kristina Marie has performed at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center in a production “Fiddler on the Roof.” Kristina Marie has shared the stage with Andy Bassford, Grammy award-winning member of Toots & the Maytals and has had the privilege of singing with the folk icon, Richie Havens.

Over the past few years, Vita Izabella and Kristina Marie have been working closely, writing and recording with good friend and producer, Paul Umbach (Nine Days, Aaron Carter, Britney Spears). They have been showcasing their original music, both individually and together, at NYC venues such as The Knitting Factory, The Bitter End, The Sidewalk Cafe, Pete’s Candy Store, The Lion’s Den, Kenny’s Castaways, CBGB’s Gallery and The Back Fence. They have also showcased their music at the nationally recognized Chick Singer Night, at The Bitter End, hosted by Deena Miller.

K.R.A.V.E. is currently putting the finishing touches on their new EP Ghosts & Obsessions.
