Biography

Becca Gohn is an up-and-coming artist whose voice captures both the flirtatious brassiness of singers like Billie Holiday while embracing a sweet ambience in tone reminiscent of singers like Jewel. Her distinctive song-writing blends a delicate whirldwind of thought-provoking lyrics and engaging melodies with her unique vocals, creating an overall musical style that offers an insightful and imaginative rendering of adult contemporary music.

As a solo performer for many years in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas, Becca's distinctive piano accompanied originals and her one-of-a-kind take on covers have graced many venues in the region including coffeehouses, clubs, festivals, churches, community centers, and house concert series.

Becca's most recent accomplishments include singing with Peter Nero and the Philly Pops! as part of the festival chorus in the Holiday Pops! concert series in December. And this past spring, her song "It's always you" was featured on WXPN radio during their world renowned Sleepy Hollow program.

Becca's discography includes two inspiring albums, her most recent, a five song EP recorded at Morning Star Studios with Grammy® Award-winning producer Glenn Barratt. As one fan describes, Glimpse is 'an amazingly beautiful recording from a wonderful artist! One listen and you are hooked.'

Her other acheivements include features and playlist inclusion on internet radio stations including Women of Substance Radio, FM102X Song of the Day, Cache Radio and many others.
