Biography

Children's poet and songwriter Jeff Mondak's songs appear on several CDs, and have been heard on NPR's "All Things Considered," the Dr. Demento Show, and on countless children's music programs. His award-winning song "Pluto's Not a Planet Anymore" is featured in the new book "The Pluto Files."

Jeff has worked with numerous musicians, including Alex Stangl (Peterborough, Ontario), Sergio Wals (Lincoln, NE), and Tim Frazier (Champaign, IL).

Jeff co-wrote all of the songs on Sergio Wals' 2008 CD "Michael Closed the Bathroom Door." The title track and "The Toy Box Ate My Brother" have been played on the Dr. Demento Show. All 12 songs on the CD have been played on broadcast and streaming programs.
