The Futureless is a dark electronic duo: Mads and spNolan (synths, programming, vox, live electronics). An agglomeration of electronics, guitar, pop ethics and pop deconstructed, reimagined and made new again. The Futureless have been carefully crafting a moody electronic sound called everything from electronic pop, electro-noir, post-dance and progressive trance; the sounds of Brooklyn, Berlin, London, Gothenburg and France. It echoes the 80's but moves ardently towards a new and modern style. In 2009 The Futureless met with prolific producer Shawn Lefebvre (Muse, Dragonette, LA Guns, Cancer Bats etc.) and recorded what would become the * Futura* triptych: 3 separate EP’s with a cognitive thread.Lauded by fans and blogs in Canada, US, UK, Netherlands and New Zealand, The Futureless is slowly making their mark on electronic music internationally.

  Canadian electronic band, The Futureless, consisting of Nolan (vocals, keys, programming), Savard (k...Canadian electronic band, The Futureless, consisting of Nolan (vocals, keys, programming), Savard (keys, bass), and Tucker (vocals, keys, programming, guitar), has been transforming trance into their own unique style by taking it into the dark side of electronic pop. Their current EP Futura, which was made with award-winning producer/engineer Shawn Lefebvre (Muse, Dragonette, Cancer Bats, Billy Talent) in early 2009, highlights some of the bands new material that will be released on their debut full-length LP in Spring 2010.
  
  Combining progressive trance, techno, ambiance, and indie styles, along with live instrumentation and drum/synth samples, The Futureless create a thought provoking sound that is intense, but yet surreal. The reserved/sparse vocals mesh perfectly with the driving rhythms and sounds giving the music a mysterious feel to it.

With their current EP Futura , The Futureless has much to look forward to, including recording their first full-length album in Spring 2010.
  
  Since their start, The Futureless has made an impact on the booming electronic scene. Combining progressive trance, techno, ambience, and indie, the musicians create an emotional sound that is simultaneously intense and vulnerable. The ethereal vocals somehow mix perfectly with the pulsating rhythms and aggressive instrumentation. To create their highly anticipated EP Futura , The Futureless collaborated with award-winning producer/engineer Shawn Lefebvre (Muse, Dragonette, Cancer Bats, Billy Talent ) in early 2009. Together the artists created three hypnotizing tracks that capture the brooding spirit of The Futureless.
