Biography

"The easiest way to describe them is plainly a wall of sound. These guys hit you like a tidal wave and when a song ends, you are left wanting more." - Brian Campbell
Selected for "Top Ten Unsigned Bands of 07" published on Jan 2, 2008 on athome.com websites in Baltimore, Buffalo, Chicago, Cleveland, DC, Denver, Detroit, Philadelphia, Rochester & Syracuse.

Based out of Champaign-Urbana, IL, Terminus Victor has found their own way to rock through their music. Formed in 1999, the group released "Mastering the Revels" in 2002 and "Under Surveillance" in 2005. Band members Scott Kimble (bass, vocals), Don King (guitars and technical support) and Terry Wathen (drums) have created a sound that successfully combines aspects of nearly every facet of rock music. While the band played with only two members for quite some time, the addition of Terry Wathen revived Terminus Victor into a local power house. - the217.com, 2010

Terminus Victor is currently working in the studio to finish up the recording of their third full length record, and plan to release it in 2010.

Setlist

Terminus Victor repertoire includes songs full of driven energy and musical bridges ("Mechanical Eye"), dancability and slow driving finale ("Safety in Numbers"), intensely dramatic and common favorite ("A Scream in the Park"), brief melancholy ("Hopelessly Domesticated"), radio friendly pleasant outros ("Your Nemesis"), head banging hard driving ("The Hands of Gridlock" *unreleased), and hair raising closers ("Taking the Advantage"). Musical delivery is consistent and true to the original style of Terminus Victor. The variety of color and feel shapes an adventurous journey through well placed peaks and valleys.

Typically perform for 40-45 minutes (~7-9 songs). Can play longer or shorter sets. Generally only play original songs. Occasionally add a cover depending on occasion, venue and crowd.

Audiences experience an energetic, dynamic, and pleasurable journey of rock show peaks and valleys at a 'good kind of loud' volume. The band is flexible and able to adapt to stage size. The original style and performance level of Terminus Victor music is not locked into a single genre that allows them to play with many types of bands, genres, and styles. They have performed on unionized professional sound stages to clubs to 6 ft basements with dirt floors.
