Biography
What if worship music was more than just sing-a-longs? What if it changed the way you looked at God, looked at life, or even the way you saw yourself? What would that look like?
Michael Coffman (lead singer) and Ryan Cecil (guitarist) asked themselves these same questions. Their answer was The 71's - a band devoted to helping people step out of the box, step away from the genre of music defined as "worship," and into a life-style and mind set that is full of the truth and energy of Christ's love.
The 71's are not a "worship" band - they are a BAND THAT HELPS YOU WORSHIP by challenging you to think out of the box, listen to God's voice more closely, and love Him more deeply.

Setlist
Our typical set list revolves around your needs, length of event, and the crowd. For concerts, we can do up to an hour and a half of original music.
For worship events, we always want to include worship songs they know. We also include original songs and other aspects to our music (crowd participation, teaching moments, and visual elements) that help the audience think and worship differently.
