Biography

Tijuana Bullfight is a heavy, melodic trio with members emerging from the OC punk, LA underground scene, influences ranging from Pop, Reggae.... and Metal..and, have nothing to do with any bullfighting and or harming of any animal.

The band hails from Southern California, after two, now expired record deals, the band has gone DIY. TJBF's self titled debut, two US tours and Radio success of "Terrified Teenagers" has enabled them snag invitations to headline and support act's at various live music venues, not just around Los Angeles, but around the States. A rabid underground following spawn the interest and achieved industry attention which led them to work with some of the top producers in the Music Business, such as; Jack Endino (Nirvana), Ralph Patlan (Megadeth), Danny Sabar (Rolling Stones). Feature Film and TV placements struck notice with MTV's reality series "Real World" and "Road Rules" who consistently license from the band.

TJBF has recently been in Scott Weiland’s (Stone Temple Pilots) “Lavish Studios” and world renowned "Entourage Studios" , recording their new album which is due for release early 2012. This time around TJBF decided on producing themselves and enlisting the talents of producer/engineer Douglas Grean (Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver) producer/engineer Ashbern Miller (Deadsy, Helmet) and Grammy award winning producers Mike Shipley (Maroon 5, 30 seconds to Mars, Papa Roach) and Rae Dileo (Filter) to help with the production/mix. With creative line up in tack, originality brought on by inspiring musical idols and icons, the product is uniquely their own, TJBF, anticipate that their new album will not leave a lot to be desired …

2012 marks a busy year for the band with the new release followed by full US and European tour.
