Biography
The Heat Exchange hail from Seattle, WA. Keith & Chris first started playing as The Heat Exchangers back in summer of 2005. By next spring we were looking for a new drummer. In summer 2006, as we reached the depths of despair, Matt finally answered the call. We liked him so much, we didn't care that he misheard the name and told everyone he was in The Heat Exchange. So, we changed the name rather than risk losing him.
Since that time, we’ve played shows all over Seattle at The Sunset Tavern, High Dive, The Skylark Cafe, El Corazon, and The Central Saloon, amongst others.
Instrumentation
Keith Reimer - guitar and vocals
Chris McGann - bass
Matt Evans - drums
Discography
Our debut full-length CD, "Progress ruins everything, but what else is there?", is a dynamic rocker that delves into politics, religion and introspection - balanced by self-deprecating humor and lively wordplay. Sliding chordal rhythms backed by driving bass and drums form the foundation for elements of dirty rock, Hendrix-y blues, playful romps, and unabashed pop interspersed with searing guitar solos and instrumental breakdowns.

Setlist
Our typical set is 45-60 minutes. We pull from mainly from our album, but throw in older\newer songs and maybe a cover every now and then.
