Artist Information
Biography
Helmet Head formed in 2005 and has played CBGB, Lion's Den, Don Hill's, Knitting Factory, Arlene's Grocery and Bitter End. Helmet Head is a natural headliner, but we'll play anywhere on a bill. Listen to our live version of "Shut Your Mouth, Lance Armstrong is an American Hero" on our myspace site (www.myspace.com/helmetheadmusic) and you'll hear why. It's all about the live show. We don't need a sissy-boy press kit. We email our fans about upcoming shows and pack every gig. "Helmet-Heads" appreciate our thoughtful approach to the show and the music. They know there's a surprise inside each show, and always a jelly-roll ending. With a name like Helmet Head, it has to be good. Our influences include but are not limited to Phish, Talking Heads, Cake, REM, Elvis Costello and the Grateful Dead.
