Artist Information
Biography
Dave Williamson was born into a long line of automobile dealers. After years of working his way through the family business, he decided he enjoyed making his customer’s laugh more than he enjoyed making them deals.
Dave’s humor documents real life experiences from his childhood, his colorful college career, and his current journey as a young husband and father. He connects with young and old audiences as his material is edgy without going too far over the line.
Over the past several years Dave has performed and excelled in at least 9 different prestigious Comedy Festivals throughout the U.S. He won entry into the 2011 Boston Comedy Festival by placing 3rd in their NY competition, beating out 80 other comics. He followed that up with another 3rd place finish in Vegas at the World Series of Comedy competing against 100 other comics. Dave has also performed in the 2008, 2010, & 2011 South Beach Comedy Festivals, which is presented by Comedy Central.
You may have seen him in an episode of A&E’s detective show, The Glades or as one of numerous different characters in a reenactment on FOX’s America’s Most Wanted. He has opened for such well-known comics as Jim Gaffigan, Jimmy Fallon, and Gilbert Gottfried. All of Dave’s jokes come with available rust proofing, floor mats, and 0% financing.
