Biography
West Virginia's Biggest-Little Bluegrass Band, Blue Maggie, was the brain storm of Cheryl and Richard Patrick in 2007. They wanted to bring a fresh sound and a show to bluegrass by drawing back to its' roots. Early on they were booked as a two piece act with Cheryl's vocals and her old style rythm mandolin and Richards's high energy upright bass playing.
Now they have a superb banjo player and excellent guitar player in Brent Stapleton and Andy Park.
They have been described as Patsy Cline and Jimmy Martin playing with Sonny Osborne. What a SOUND and WHAT A SHOW!
Instrumentation
Cheryl Patrick on Vocals and Mandolin
Richard Patrick on Upright Bass and Vocals
With Brent Stapleton on Banjo and Andy Park on Guitar.
