Biography
Emma White is a pop/soul singer/songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland. Her soulful voice and range allow her the versatility to sing various genres including R&B, Pop, and Country. Working with other artists, she has been described as the, “Sultry, soulful, and oh so talented vocalist ‘Ms. Emma White’ - aka E. White” (KnoxRecordz, 2008).
Growing up, Emma was immersed in music and began singing old jazz standards and musical theater. Her mother has been a strong influence in her music and also pursued a singing career, always including Emma in her songwriting process. Music has been the love of Emma’s life from the time she was a little girl and her passion for performing developed early when she first sang the National Anthem at a local baseball game at age 8.
She is a true performer and has sung at both small and large venues such as the Baltimore Raven’s M&T Bank Stadium, Orioles Stadium, and the University of Maryland.
A talented songwriter as well, Emma’s song “His Eyes” took the number five spot on ClearChannel Radio’s online contest in the summer of 2007. She continues to write and collaborate with artists and songwriters on the east coast and in Nashville.
Emma is currently studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston and actively pursuing a singing career as a Soul/Pop artist. Emma’s passion, talent, and dedication will prove to lead her to success and longevity in the music business.
