Biography
My professional background lies in language, teaching, and understanding how to get a message across. The songwriting lay dormant for many years, but I now find myself focused on music for real singers. This is taking me away from the singer-songwriter realm, and into more of the pure songwriting, for the really talented voices out there.
Instrumentation
I am primarily a songwriter. My newest tracks (Juarez, Darfur Lullaby, Leaving Athens), were produced by Emmy-winner, composer producer, Michael J. Lewis. Vocalists include LZ Love singing Darfur Lullaby.
Discography
CD "SLIGHTLY OVERDUE" was released in May, 2008. Contains 12 tracks ). One track, "Darfur Lullaby" selected as soundtrack for short video, which can be seen/heard at www.tentsofhope.org. Another track, Leaving Athens, is featured on a compilation CD, Violet Femmes II, released winter, 2009. Leaving Athens has also been featured on serveral internet radio stations.

Available inventory of songs includes the pop-bluesy "Suckers for Love", country-swing "Nice Girls Don't go Honky-tonkin", and the jazzy "The Heart Never Changes", which includes a line you won't hear elsewhere: "...and when the blushes turn to menopausal flushes..." Also in the files: several musical-theater genre pieces, for both male and female voices, and one great faux classical tongue-in-cheek choral salute (SSAA) to Christiane Amanpour.
