The Scotland-born singer-songwriter learned his trade amongst the Scottish Folk scene, performing with Dougie MacLean as a vocalist and supporting Joan Armatrading, The Low Anthem and Chuck Berry in concerts around Europe.

Now based in France, Fraser’s album, 'Little Glass Box', is a retro folk-soul exploration recorded with world class musicians Danny Thompson on double bass (John Martyn, Nick Drake), Dick Pearce on trumpet (Ronnie Scott Quintet), Martin Ditcham on percussion (Sade) and Max Middleton on Rhodes piano (Jeff Beck, John Martyn). The result is an album that is sensitive and mature, crafted with a lyrical and melodic honesty.

Fraser has played live sessions for Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2, Radio Scotland, NPR, WFUV in New York and performed a live BBC set alongside Natalie Merchant as part of Celtic Connections 2010.

His previous albums include 'and the girl with the strawberry…' (2004), hailed by Scottish Press as a “masterpiece” and 'Coming up for air' (2007), which was picked up by Bob Harris on Radio 2 who described it as “truly beautiful”.

As a performer, Fraser throws his heart out into the spotlight in a way that is entirely his own but can't help but be compared to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake and John Martyn.

Fraser performed an acoustic showcase tour in New York and Toronto in May 2011, during which he also recorded a live session on John Platt's Sunday Breakfast Show on WFUV in NY.

Asked to return to Canada to play at the 2011 OCFF at Niagara falls.

- 2011 -
Nov- Signed a record deal with the Nichion label in Japan to release a track recorded with the Shanghai Restoration Project from NYC.

Fraser's song, 'rag and bones' is chosen to be included in an album to celebrate the wonderful career of bass player Danny Thompson.

  The Perth based singer-songwriter has been working his solo acoustic magic for over six years now, b...The Perth based singer-songwriter has been working his solo acoustic magic for over six years now, building up a reputation as one of Scotland's most promising emerging artists in the process.
  The 29 year old father of 3 is fresh from performing at the Celtic connections festival at Glasgows Royal concert hall alongside friend and mentor, Dougie Maclean. And with a jam packed tour schedual planned for this year as well as a second album writen and ready to record, 2005 is shaping up to be a big year for the musician.
  Adding to this impetus is the fact that Anderson has got himself a brand spanking new band to add an extra dimention to his folk based vignettes.
  The band which comprises Andersons old Perth Music College buddies, bassist Chris Agnew and guitarist Ali Ferguson. Along with percussionist Jamie Maclean, made its debut at the ross bandstand in Edinburgh during last years festival fringe. And, while he would never do down his time as a solo acoustic warrior. Anderson is convinced the presence of additional musicians has given his reserves a real shot in the arm. He told the Herald and Post; "There is no way I would underplay how important it wa for me to learn my craft acoustically.
  I learned so much from other musicians."

  "However, there is only so far you can take it on your own and I was begining to get frustrated because I was hearing harmonies and other dimentions to songs which could only be realised by having other people around."
  Despite having been on his own for so long, Anderson is no stranger to collaborations. He forged a friendship with Scottish songwriting godhead, Dougie Maclean through appearances at the famous folk singers Dunkeld music pub, the Taybank.
  The pair were soon playing music together and Anderson has vocal credits on Dougie Macleans reasent album, who am i, and has performed with him live on various occasions.
  Anderson readily cites his friend as one of his biggest influences. He said, "I didnt really know a lot about Dougies stuff untill a few years back, but I went to see him in concert with my wife and he was absolutely mesmerising. "I have a lot of admiration for what he has achieved and it has been a big thing for me to have been able to work with him."
