Winners of The 2012 Chico Area Music Award for "Best Funk/Jam Act" ~Chico News & Review

With an unmistakeable vocal tone and a songwriting palate of many colors, Alli Battaglia is an ardent and impassioned performer. Inspired to follow her dreams after surviving a near fatal auto accident, she decided to begin writing and performing. She has earned a Master's Certificate in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music, and is currently pursuing a Master's Certificate in Production & Engineering.

Ranging from funky to folky, with elements of jam and the blues, Alli Battaglia & The Musical Brewing Co. show tremendous diversity and maintain a genuine melodic quality. Live performances garner loyal fans and emit a passionate flare that is intimate and intoxicating, bound to whisk any willing traveler away.

  KZFR is a community radio station in Chico, California and we have come to know and love Alli over the years. We have a commitment to live music and Alli and her band have performed on KZFR too many times to mention. One of her first performances was in 2008 as a solo artist. Alli has a wonderful voice, great songwriting ability and she’s a warm, charismatic person. Her band kicks some serious butt too. The chemistry between all members is very natural. To say they have a following in Northern California is an understatement. They are LOVED.
  
  I’ve been in radio for over 30 years and I’ve worked with a lot of bands and seen a lot of great shows, but I can unequivocally say that Alli and the MBC have what I like to call “presence.” There is a very positive vibe at their shows and you can feel it. They are like a rolling, gentle wave that flows over you on a warm, sunny beach.

Alli's heartfelt songwriting performed in her passionate, smooth yet powerful vocal style is inspiring and refreshing.
  
  The band is comprised of seasoned players backing Battaglia (pronounced Ba-tal-lee-ah) with genuine passion for her tunes. The songs range from funky to folky with pop and jam band aesthetics rolled into one. A Musical Brewing Company performance takes listeners on a journey through life's celebrations, struggles, hopes and dreams—musically depicted by this Northern California rock ensemble.
  
  The band is straightforward from a technical standpoint, easy to work with, professional and responsible—on time that is. MBC travels with management, but not an engineer. They are friendly and helpful—not a bit overbearing—when it comes to interfacing with venue PA system, engineers and personnel.

I am a founding member of Family Business Music, a stage sound production/artist develop company based out of northern california. I am also music director for Wild Mountain Productions, Inc. We organize and promote music events as a fundraising mechanism for a unique scholarship program and many other crucial local charities.   I have worked with Alli for many years in many scenarios and arenas. I have worked for her as an artist, at events she organized and promoted with the help of her family and team which has been crucial to our local scene. I have worked with Alli and her team as a promoter having them on our events and, as always, they never fail to impress or inspire me musically, as well as with their professionalism.
