Biography

Cohesive's Primary reason for coming together as a band is the desire of the members to create songs and hold alot of integrity in their music. All members had been musicians there whole life playing live and writing music. Cohesive holds standards very HI for live performance as well. "Playing live and songwriting is our two deepest passions". The Band has earned much recognition in the industry with a number of awards and honorable mentions, including the Los Angeles Music awards and VH-1 sponsored "save the music", as well as Mike Pinders Songwars. "One of the primary things about our story is the bond the band has in holding the material we write to Obsessive Compulsive standards. We really scrutinize over Melody, Tension-release, and integrity in our music. We write music to get away from our nervous energy. Integrity is really a must have for us in our writing and performance.

  Cohesive's CD "To The Stars" is wonderful. The CD starts off with the song "To The Stars ," which is both catchy and calming. Many of the songs on this CD are catchy, and they are sure to make an impression to the listener. This CD also has many good messages in the lyrics, which are easy to understand. In "Better Days" they say, "Be quiet, but have your say," which is a good thought. Cohesive also has original sounding titles such as "Pollution Media." "To The Stars" is a great CD-fun to listen to.
