Angeli hails from Minneapolis, MN, where she spent her formative years singing and performing for just about every opportunity that came her way. Her first single “All I Want” was released in 2009 and produced by Chris Young (whose credits include Ashlee Simpson, George Clinton, and the Real Housewives of NYC’s Countess Luann).

Angeli recently teamed up with MotherApp (a mobile app developer) to create the MyAngeli application, which is now available as a free app through the Android and Blackberry phones.

In 2010 Angeli signed to Australian Indie Power House “Savvy Muzik”. “Fantasy” was her follow up single and the first release under Savvy Muzik. Fused with American pop beats and Indian instruments, the track is sexy and fun. Co-produced by famed Indian musician Milind Date, the track was also placed in the film “Goodbye Baby” from Gigantic Productions in 2008.

Angeli’s 2011 debut full-length release “Breathe It in,” is very much a tribute to her personal life. The album is an eclectic combination of Pop, Neo-soul, and Singer/songwriter styles. The 3rd single from the album is currently on the Indie104 radio rotation.

Most recently Angeli has teamed up with DJ/Producer Lee Kalt experimenting with dance/pop music. Her first single with Lee Kalt "Believe" made its debut on Beat Port this summer.

Angeli loves the stage, which is always portrayed through her performances and non-stop abundance of energy. The voice of the new music industry, Angeli combines her powerful vocals with heart-felt lyrics creating feminine, charming, and honest music.

She ...Examiner recently had the chance to check out a new artist name Angeli Kakade perform at R Bar. She has been gathering fans all over the world and her popularity continues to defy gravity. Her new album 'Breathe It In' is now available on itunes.
  The album features production from Dan Weniger who is a composer, producer focusing on singer songwriters and CEO of a music licensing company, Playtunes Music. He graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Film Scoring and Composition. He has had hundreds of tracks placed in TV, films and commercials. He recently released a folk/world meditation album called "Be Still." Available on iTunes and CD Baby.
  Q: What inspires your music?
  A: I write about the kind of stuff everyone goes through. Falling in love, falling out of love, heartbreak, happiness, jealousy, wanting what we cant have. At the end of the day, it usually comes from a personal experience or feeling, but I always figure if I'm going through something chances are, someone else out there is too. There are so many times I wish I could just be inspired to create, but it doesn't happen that way, for me at least. Some things in life we can force or push, inspiration is not one of them. I just have to live my life, wait for something dramatic to happen, and then write about it! haha
  Q: Who are some artists that you listen to?
  A: I do listen to a lot of Christina Aguilera, Lionel Ritchie, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Sara Bareilles and the awesome indie bands that play in venues like5 NYC's Rockwood Music Hall.

  Fast-forward to 2010 and Angeli has now signed to Australian Indie Power House “Savvy Muzik”. She is working with the label and their global market teams to take her music to larger audience throughout Asia and Australia. “Fantasy” was her follow up single and the first release under Savvy Muzik.
