Biography
Huladog was created when a group of young men got together and wanted to jam some slammin' funk music. We came together based on a love of various artists such as The Greyboy Allstars, Medeski Martin & Wood, Rudder, Charlie Hunter, Liquid Soul, Radiohead, Parliament/Funkadelic, John Scofield, The Meters, Herbie Hancock, Curtis Mayfield, Tower Of Power...the list goes on.
By studying these artists we utilize their styles as a launching pad for our own original musical thumbprint. We're working on producing our own sound, combining the edge of rock, the pulse of funk, and the subtle interplay of jazz.
