Brandon, Kenny, Dave and Steve are from York, PA. They were in several bands before forming the distinctive sound of Turning Point. These four individuals share one goal of climbing to the top of the music industry. They are influenced by bands such as Guns 'N Roses, Metallica, Goo Goo Dolls, Velvet Revolver and Sound Garden.
Brandon - Lead singer/rhythm guitar player
Brandon Rial, 25, is the lead singer and rhythm guitar player for Turning Point; he is from Red Lion, Pennsylvania and started playing guitar at the age of 15. Brandon with his good looks and smile will captivate and charm you and his all-out positive attitude will make your heart race, but his distinctive three-octave range voice will definitely render you speechless. Brandon shares his dream with many other young musicians, to make it big while inspiring and entertaining others with his music. The bands that inspire him most include The Goo Goo Dolls, Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver, Audioslave and many more. Whatever it takes Brandon will reach his musical goal in life: he will ultimately succeed and conquer the music industry. You can just see the determination in his eyes as he says, "Original music is the key to success, you have to work much harder but it is all worth it". Brandon will always continue to write good quality, straight-forward, rock n' roll music and people will be inspired by him, no doubt. When he is not playing and creating great music he enjoys surfing at the beach, hanging out with friends, and just enjoying life.
Kenny - Lead guitar player
Kenny Fernsler, 24, lead guitarist for Turning Point, is from York, Pennsylvania. Kenny started playing guitar at the age of 16, although Elvis made him decide at the age of five that he wanted to be a musician! As he plays feast your eyes on his unique style and stare with amazement as his fingers of fury blaze like fire all over the place. Listen as he rips some of the most musically challenging solos you will ever hear. Kenny will have you excited to go home and play Guitar Hero!!! Kenny's musical influences include Zakk Wylde, Randy Rhodes, Slash, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix and many more. His hobbies include outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. Kenny's goal with Turning Point is to help the band reach as high a level of success as possible and ultimately, for himself, to become a guitar legend like his idols so that he too can inspire others to follow their dreams to become a rock stars.
Steve - Bass guitar player
Steve Arch is the bassist for Turning Point, he is from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Bob has been playing bass since his early 20's. He is also multi-talented playing around with the rhythm guitar here and there which also adds to the band's musical flexibility. Steve has been in many bands before Turning Point and his musical influences include AC/DC, Jackyl, Boston, and even some more contemporary bands such as Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet For My Valentine. Steve and his winning smile will make you want to get up and dance.
Dave - Drummer
Dave Heldibridle, 24, is the drummer for Turning Point; he is from York, Pennsylvania and has been playing the drums for over 12 years. He is multi-talented in that he can also play the guitar, which helps out while the band is writing original music and adding their own special twist to their coversong rock classics. Brandon and Dave have been in countless bands together ever since they were 16 years-old. Much of Dave's musical influence comes from metal bands such as Arch Enemy, Chimaira, Lamb of God, and Avenged Sevenfold. These metal-type influences enable Dave to bring another level of sound and quality which only adds to the edgy rock and roll distinctive feel of the Turning Point band. Dave is motivated by playing in front of large crowds, the bigger the more animated Dave becomes. He would love to play in front of huge stadium crowds with the crowd begging for more and more music as the band plays on. Dave obviously feeds off of the positive energy that Turning Point crowds shower the band with and the more an audience is 'into it' and rocking out, the more Dave and the rest of the band thrives off of the crowd's excitement and enthusiasm and the band just continues to party out and jam the night away, in the Turning Point tradition.
The band features lead singer, rhythm guitar player, Brandon Rial, lead guitarist with a melodic technical sound, Ken Fernsler, bass guitarist Steve Arch and drummer Dave Heldibridle.

The frontman, singer and rhythm guitarist, Brandon Rial, is surely destined for greatness. His world class stage presence is humble yet commanding. I predict rockstar icon status in this young man's future. His vocal range certainly reaches far beyond that of average. Truly a unique and professional-minded talent that will not go unnoticed for any extended period of time. It's true, the future holds many unexpected events. But, trust me, Brandon's inevitable stardom will not be one of those unexpected events.
Each band member brings his own matchless musical rapture to the stage. The drummer, Dave Heldibridle, is a powerhouse of timing and an impressive untamed "master of the skins". A natural talent. His performance was undeniable quality all the way. The bass player Bob's "icebreaking" interaction with the audience is sheer genius. And the precision lead guitar work of Kenny Fernsler can, most certainly, be compared to that of the more experienced without hesitation. Quite possibly a virtuoso in the works.
From Brandon's "Queen Be" shout out and original song "Beauty Of You" to their choice of covers, including a Dio number, I was completely sold on these guys!
After the show, I was sure to engage in conversation with the band's members. They were very sociable, down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and charming young men. Like a breath of fresh air, they had an invigorating effect both on, and off, stage. I hope to, one day soon, enjoy the Turning Point experience again. Until then, just know, their CD "Let Your Money Come Down" is in my player and will remain there indefinitely. QBR loves Turning Point and you will, too! Check out the band's page here on myspace at

Their debut full-length CD, Let Your Money Come Down, introduces us to Turning Point's brand of melody-based, hard-nosed rock; marked by rigid rhythms, roaring riffs, and rugged but tuneful vocals. The group's sound reveals roots in 70’s/80’s hard rock, but also shares common ground with more recent names like Pearl Jam, Creed and Nickelback. The songs are direct and to the point, including industrial-strength rumblers like the disc-opening “Give It to Me,” “Waterstone” and the album-closing “Born to Lose;” brazen, faster rockers like “Two Minute Warning,” “D.U.I.” and “Bitch Slap;” and a pair of acoustic-geared ballads in “Beauty of You” and the Creed-like “Everything.” The performances are solid and tight overall; these guys take care of business without getting flashy or fancy. Ken’s lead guitar work is clean and serves the melodies, while Brandon’s vocals are strong and mid-ranged if not particularly impassioned; some occasional layered harmonies bolster the impact during a few songs. Recorded at Harrisburg’s Seventh Wave Studio and engineered by Jason Rubal, Let Your Money Come Down sounds clear and balanced, with all components of Turning Point’s sound given a clear voice in the mix; and devoid of clutter, bells and whistles. Turning Point’s debut is a solid statement of purpose; Let Your Money Come Down successfully conveys this group’s basic, no-nonsense, hard-rocking approach.
