Biography
This Detroit-based band has spent the last four years honing its sound in the local club scene, continuously reshaping its musical direction, all while building a solid grass-roots following in the Midwest region. The band mixes various musical influences and has developed a style the likes of Jet & Velvet Revolver with a touch of MC5, Iggy, and the early Detroit punk scene. The tongue-in-cheek lyrics & round, swelling tones of guitarist/vocalist Brian Schram pale in comparison only to the sheer raw power that is their live show making this four piece motor city outfit stand out amongst the crowd... as a proper rock-n-roll band should!
Originally a spawn of the Traverse City blues scene, guitarist/vocalist Brian Schram cut his teeth on the road playing lead guitar with Uncle Kracker. After leaving the limelight, Brian decided to form a band that focused on two things: writing good songs and putting on a killer rock-n-roll show. With that The Brian Schram Band was born.
