Biography
Zompantli, is a music project that fuses the sounds of flutes, ocarinas and drums, all of Aztec, Mayan, Mayo, Totonacan, Tarahumaran origins; chants in Nahuatl and Totonaca (ancestral languages of Mexico); with electronic rhythms, like house, dance and techno beats. With this modern combination, Zompantli looks to bring ancestral traditions to younger generations.

The played instruments are
Drums, Flutes, Ocarinas that are made of clay, turtle shells, Cantaros which are vases made of clay, rain sticks, djdoo and ratles.
