Biography

"...they make a thoughtfully crazy, energetic noise with ideas flying left, right and center..."

- Pure Rawk

In a day and age when the music world is over-saturated with bands who seem preoccupied with conforming to a specific genre's guidelines, 'Moscow Girls' draw their influences from the entire history of rock and roll to put out a sound that's fresh, yet familiar.

Formerly known as The Frantic, Moscow Girls have performed over 150 shows together. They've opened for the likes of the New York Dolls, Supersuckers, Chesterfield Kings, The Charms, Gore Gore Girls, IV Thieves, performed up and down the east coast and went on a 2 week tour of the UK in the summer of '06, all on a DIY work ethic.

They've recently wrapped up recording a self titled EP (available now on iTunes and Rhapsody) at the legendary Water Music in Hoboken, NJ.
