Come On Caboose is an indie folk, jangle pop band from Cincinnati, OH and Louisville, KY started by singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Coran Stetter. In April 2009, Come On Caboose recorded songs for their debut EP, "Wave Maker" in Indianapolis, Indiana with Tyler Watkins (Margot and the Nuclear So and So's). The atmospheric dream pop of "Wave Maker" began drawing wider attention, leading Come On Caboose to perform at the CMJ Music Marathon in New York, Midpoint Music Fest in Cincinnati and notable shows throughout the Midwest and east coast including Cincinnati’s Fountain Square, Southgate House (Newport, KY), The Basement (Columbus, OH), The Vollrath (Indianapolis, IN), and The Fire (Philadelphia, PA).
In February 2012, Coran began writing the follow up to “Wave Maker” which led to over 30 new songs as well as another invite to perform at CMJ. By February 2013, Come On Caboose had grown into a full band with Trent Russelburg (bass, keys), Chris Cox (drums, percussion) and Nate Wainscott (guitar, keys). Working again with Tyler Watkins, the newly formed band recorded "Let Go", "Naked", and "Sun Dress" during the final recording session at famed Indianapolis Queensize Studio. The new songs beautifully convey themes of dealing with expectations and disappointment, perceived, social and personal.
The first single from the new release, “Let Go” is set to be out in the summer of 2013, followed by East coast tour July-October.

A solo project that has grown organically to include a three other like-minded musicians. The group, in this incarnation, is still relatively new but seems to have found sure footing in where they want their sound to go. Come On Caboose’s guitars are the heart of their arrangements from which simple bass lines and punch drums take their lead. Lyrically they are also a step ahead of the average young band. Dynamic verses and subtly catchy choruses are sung primarily by Coran Setter but boosted at times by the others. The still have some work to do on carving out their own recognizable place in the indie market but their new album Wave Maker is a good step in that direction.

Come On Caboose began life as a home recording project by singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Coran Stetter (for shows he assembles an actual band, but essentially Stetter is Come On Caboose). CoC’s atmospheric Dream Pop began drawing wider attention, leading Stetter to perform at the CMJ fest in New York City last year and play shows throughout the Midwest and South.
