Goldie Wilson delivers sonic gems in a 60's folk/pop vein. Adding four-part vocal harmonies on top of layers of guitars, keyboards and as one critic aptly stated, "a rhythm section as tight as a Scotsman's wallet," Goldie Wilson will keep you guessing with infectious melodies and clever hooks.

Biography

While Goldie Wilson’s debut album may have established the band as a well-versed 60’s pop revival act, their sophomore release Black Stampede builds on this base with a sound that is heavily in the Folk/Americana vein and decidedly darker than their previous material. With songs focusing on lost lovers, family and the American West, Goldie ups the ante with more experimental song structures and ambitious four-part harmonies.

After three years in the game, this Seattle based quintet has explored a variety of live arrangements, settling on two dedicated keyboard players, guitar, bass and drums. Although this sound is often toyed with and augmented with the likes of banjo ukulele, lap steel and mandolin, the core of Goldie’s sound is their vocal harmonies, with any of their four vocalists taking lead duties.

Poised for the release of Black Stampede, Goldie Wilson is getting ready to hit the road in support of their new record and already racking up tunes for future releases.
