Heavy grooves inspire audiences to let go and dance.
The melodies catch most any listener and many leave the shows humming a tune.
Gripping lyrical content inspires fun, deep reflection and a groovin' good time.
Karuna means compassion . . .
The Karuna Movement is spearheaded by Jon Bone(writter, lead vocalist and guitar player) and is supported by a band with hundreds of shows combined experience. Jon puts his heart into every performance and says he feels each one is an opportunity to connect with the community.
Each musician involved in this Movement (from Vancouver Island to the Carribean Islands) have picked charities that resonate with them.
To start, 10% of The Karuna Movement's profits are donated to this cluster of charities.
"The Karuna Movement is a challenge!" said Jon Bone in an interview with DJ Shadan of VON Radio 895 AM in the Caribbean.
