Christopher K. Daniels (“Mr. Chris”) is a full time children’s educational entertainer and is the president of Mr. Chris’ Musical Experience. Mr. Chris’ Musical Experience was started in September 1998. With over seventeen (17) years of experience in serving children, the name “Mr. Chris” has become synonymous with Edutainment. Through his fun interactive and learning style based approach to teaching, Chris has become a much sought after consultant to many educational institutions in the New York area. Chris provides school performances, curriculum consultation, staff development and parent workshops. He has taken his live interactive musical experience showcase to various libraries and museums in the New York area.

Chris has worked as a paraprofessional at the Herbert G. Birch school in Flushing, Queens (1989- 1990). He has taught chorus and music theory at Camp Minisink in Dover Plains, NY (1991-1992). He also worked as a paraprofessional at P.S. 255 in Flushing, Queens (Autistic population 1993-1998). His showcase in 2003, Hip-hop literacy showcase at the Brooklyn Children's Museum was previewed on NY One News. In the summer of 2007, Chris toured the Queens Public Library performing storytelling workshops for children aged 5-12. In the summer of 2008, 2009, and 2010 New York City Department of Parks & Recreation offered great opportunities to perform in playgrounds in the New York City area for children aged 3-12. In October 2008 and 2009, Mr. Chris performed two shows at the Circle of Sisters expo held at the Jacob Javits Center. We will return again this year 10/30 and 10/31/2010.

Chris has served children in various educational facilities throughout the ten years of service. He teaches piano to students as a mentor/talent based session. He edutains and serves children at various birthday parties as well. To name a few, Chris has performed character education assemblies at; P. S. 52Q, P.S. 195Q, P.S. 251Q, P.S. 260K, P.S. 176Q, P.S. 138Q, P.S. 136Q, P.S.116Q, P.S. 37Q, Brooklyn Scholars Charter School, Brooklyn Excelsior Charter School, Montessori Progressive Learning Center (Queens), CCS Montessori School(Queens), South Bronx Head Start(Bronx), Kids Etcetera(Brooklyn), Tutortime Child Care/Learning Centers (Bayside, NYC and Bronx locations) and many other educational facilities in the 2009-2010 school year.

To infuse in young people a love, excitement and an ongoing appetite for learning.

Through the process of learning, see young people discover and use their creative potential to design for themselves a life of purposeful service and healthy relationships.

Mission:
To provide young people with rich educational experiences that are fun, engaging and meaningful.

Setlist
