Biography
Before Balance was founded by singer-songwriter Jeremy Borer. Prior to forming Before Balance, his music found its way to Primetime television with featured placements on MTV's The Hills, MTV's Parental Control and a handful of other MTV shows, CBS's Ghost Whisperer, and multiple A&E show promos. While these network appearances solidified his place in the music industry, he set out to further discover and develop his voice and sound. After months of hibernating in his small NYC apartment, writing and re-writing, he connected with some of New York City's top musicians to realize his vision. The songs grew into something bigger than ever imagined as personalities and musical styles came together in the studio with Brian Wolfe (Drums), Chris Tarry (Bass), and Steve Elliot (Guitar). The band is performing in their hometown of NYC and throughout the Northeast with acoustic performances allowing the audience to hear the songs in their purest form. The intensity of the music carries equally well live, in both a full band Rock setting and in an intimate "listening room" atmosphere.
