Brandon’s songs are about life, the parts of life we all experience and can relate to as our own. He sings about relationships: two people coming together, their efforts to become one, their long term joy, or the struggle of heartache. He sings about the hope each day brings, the fullness of life gained by those who seize it.
Brandon will draw you in with his voice and move you with his lyrics.
Brandon was invited to open for Justin Moore at the Augusta (GA) Chronicle Newspaper's 225 Anniversary in August 2010. Brandon drew over 400 of the eventual 1,000 people as he opened the concert line up some two hours prior to Justin Moore taking the stage.
Brandon's songwriting is a result of life experiences, both personal and from what he observes.
"Not Here" explores the simple, daily beauties of life that are experienced by most, except for the Homeless as the singer laments from a perspective of those needing the assistance of the shelter, "Not Here."
"Morning Light" expresses the trials and tribulations for someone who could be anyone of us, then the singer holds out the light of hope, "and the Morning Light will break through, and the day will bring something new."
"A Picture of Me" lays out two pictures of the singer, his own self-doubt and that of a friend or loved one who sees the singer as someone special. As the singer explores who he is and incorporates the perspective of this other person, he starts to see himself differently as he sings, "I think I'm starting to see, your picture of me."
“Must Go Own” is a perspective on life as seen when life is over. The singer reaches
back to what he once had, grieving for those left behind while assuring himself that he is O.K. “But you don’t worry about me, wasn’t ready but I’ll be fine, I have but one regret, you must go on without me.”
“Game of Love” explores the effort to understand love and the one you are attracted to in that sense. You can not always explain it but you know it is worth pursuing. “Come on girl, let’s agree to disagree, all I know is that I want you here with me!”
Inspired by Bono's (U2) social activism, Brandon partnered with the Campus for Human Development in Nashville to present a concert for the agency. The agency works with the homeless to get them on a path to become self-sufficient. Volunteers and people assisted by the agency enjoyed a 60 minute performance featuring 10 original songs Brandon wrote to raise awareness of the varying fates of Nashville's homeless. He wrote songs that reflected the viewpoint of an outside witness while other songs were written from the viewpoint of a homeless person. The song titles provide insight to his compassion: "Not Here," "Morning Light," and "What Do You Say." He was invited back for a return engagement.
Brandon's vocal talents are being enlisted to cut demos for songs from a variety of genres.
Brandon's personal interests beyond his music include his family, his friends, and movies. His family provides him love and support, his friends keep him grounded, and movies provide entertainment, which goes beyond the theme and plot to the music, special effects, and scenery.
Brandon sees life as a journey and has this to say about that journey:
“Opportunities are everywhere and the ones we take advantage of, as well as the ones we do not, shape our lives and who we are as an individual."

Brandon recorded a duet that has been released as part of a charitable 9-11 DVD (July 2007) honoring the NYC Policemen and Firemen who perished on that tragic day.
