  Now back in the UK, after a fantastic month in the Alaskan wilderness. Refreshed and chilled. Missed...Now back in the UK, after a fantastic month in the Alaskan wilderness. Refreshed and chilled. Missed music massively - I only had a titchy mp3 player with enough space for about 200 tracks. And that kinda makes you selective about what you choose to take. And so for the record, I should thank the following artists who made an especially significant contribution to my retention of my sanity in an environment where it doesn't now get dark until September and you need some chillout music to ease you into sleep, and sometimes something bouncy to get you though periods snowed in when you'd rather be on the move.....
  
  Hot Bitch Arsenal, Devendra Banhart, Miles Davis, State Radio, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, VE, Black Diamond Love, Meiko, Jaymay, A-Spacer, to name the main ones. No offence to many favourites I missed here - and if I was heading into the wilderness for another month, I'd probably pick a list of fresh choices......
