Biography
Seams Right is an urban folk band that consists of two permanent members currently making their own unique musical imprint in the country music capital of the world, Nashville, TN. The two primary members, Ben Bugna and Roger Eason, have an eclectic background in music that translates into a varietal interweaving of urban folk, rock, island, hip-hop, and jazz rhythmic and melodic practices. The songwriting duo has developed a tone and texture to their music that meshes the candidness of folk along with the vast pulse of metro-grade musical composition. Ben and Roger have been creating music together periodically for approximately 10 years, with their beginnings in a petite, lone traffic light town called Eclectic, Alabama; a simple, rural town that’s a 45 min drive from the illustrious civil rights city of Montgomery, Alabama.
The melodious comrades are set to make their own expression of music in the vibrant, neon-lit, hustle and bustle capital city of Tennessee; but not without the blunt, engaging wittiness the two musicians uniquely contribute. It’s the two main members’ ability to keep the atmosphere light-hearted, while consciously asserting the grand value of human life, and not avoiding the dark grey edges that surround all of human life that make a Seams Right performance unique. Please have a listen, and hopefully discover yourself conscious and awake in your own confined space, orbiting the Sun, and tasting the ever-evolving sensations of existence.
