Victims of Experience rose as most great bands do, from the ashes of projects past. Compromised of experienced musicians from successful acts of various styles including pop/rock act Honey Dewpont, alternative group Hitmatter, and metal band Kill Patrick, VOE draws from enough influences producing a sound with something for everyone. Our wheelhouse lies in blues rock. We focus our efforts mostly on our originals, songs of life experiences, songs that decided our band name for us, but have three-hour shows full of hits the crowds love to hear on notice. We always enjoy mixing originals and coveres as well.
Being natives of Baltimore has certainly provided ample opportunity and ability to perform around the mid-Atlantic.
VOE has had the pleasure of playing venues including Rams Head Live, Hard Rock Cafe Baltimore, Ottobar, Baltimore Sidestage, Recher Theatre, Jammin' Java, Fletcher's, Rams Head Tavern, Green Turtle, and more.
We've also been spotted at such festivals such as The Shindig, Artscape, Girls Rock Girls Rule fest, New Jersey's Seaside Music Festival, CMJ MusicFest, and several college events. We've been honored to share the stage with the likes of Joan Jett, Clutch, The Gaslight Anthem, Dropkick Murphys, and Mighty Mighty Bosstones among others.
Gaining a lot of attention with our unique features of a sax player and a female powerhouse vocalist, we're definitely setting ourselves apart from a lot of the other projects in the Baltimore music scene. From small rooms to large festivals, we never disappoint and we always bring the party.
