Biography

Ana Lains got her musical education right on the stages. Her professional history is full of travels, but also of returns – to fado and to the portuguese traditional music, her chosen musical languages. Right now, when Ana Lains is releasing the following álbum to «Sentidos», her acclaimed 2006 debut álbum, the singer is also comemorating 10 years of songs, a round number that means that she’s carrying a special luggage whenever she steps on stage and sings her heart ou tinto the microphone.
This «diva of a different fado», as the greek press described her, is also open to surprises and recently recorded with Boy George, the british pop star that has fallen in love with her voice.
