Biography
Kristine Rommel has recently finished recording her latest project, ‘Choose To Fly’ in Nashville, TN with the noted Artist/Production team ‘Watson and Nash’. Rommel, who performs at various events throughout the Northeast including NASCAR teamed up earlier this year to write and record the songs for ‘Choose To Fly’ with producer/songwriter, Shay Watson. Watson, who has worked with artists such as Sonicflood, Word Record’s Sidewalk Prophets, Switchfoot’s Jon Foreman, DC Talk’s Michael Tait and James Clay, along with his production/business partner, Joe Nash helped Rommel complete her EP at Nashville’s Sweetbriar Studios. Rommel’s music will be released online at various sites online including itunes and amazon on February 15, 2010.
Her Contemporary Christian influences include BarlowGirl, Rachael Lampa, Skillet and Plumb.
Singing and writing lyrics is food for her soul. Since childhood Kristine was aware that she had a special gift and spent most of her life developing her craft and figuring out her place in the music arena. Singing and writing is natural to her and is a place where she is confident, in touch with her spirituality and closest to God.
