Biography
The MacLeaNZ came into being as a manifestation of the marriage of the talents of Yulia Townsend to Glyn MacLean in February 2008.
Yulia, one of the New Zealand music industry's high achievers, wanted an outlet to produce pop/rock/folk songs to her Adult Contemporary audience.
The first single "LOVE SIEGE" was first released on Television New Zealand's GOOD MORNING show and was met with substantial media interest. Yulia appeared on several tv shows including New Zealand C4 Music Channel in April 2008 also appearing on CLASSIC HITS FM top 40 radio in New Zealand.
Glyn & Yulia are currently writing, arranging and producing material for the first album while seeking interest from labels in New Zealand and overseas.
