Biography
KENSI was formed in La Jolla, California. While living there, the leader of the band decided to form a music group. They wrote during frenzied rehearsal sessions after long surfing outings.
When they returned back to Europe these ideas started to take their definitive shape. They released one EP and after some time, the band put together the rest of the album tracks. In 2009, they completed their debut album, Hold My Hand.
At the beginning of 2012, the band has released their second album, Free Spirit.
The songs combine the North American indie/alternative sound with a hint of English 80’s poprock and the New wave movement, melding the dark and the romantic with distortion.
