Biography
At only 18 years old singer, songwriter & guitarist, Natasha Duarte is quickly emerging as one of Australia’s up and coming recording artists.
Natasha’s musical influence has great diversity as she has a fascination for all genres of music. Natasha is an amazing prolific songwriter. Her songs offer commercial hooks and lyrical content.
Her debut single, ‘Wanted to Feel' which won the ACMF National Songwriting Competition in 2011, was recently released in February 2012 by Empire Records, the label that Natasha is now signed to.
Natasha was born with a determination to succeed in the music industry. She is passionate about her music and believes that music is food for the soul.
Last year Natasha was nominated Penrith Young Citizen of the Year through her hard work and dedication to the arts and entertainment. She is currently commuting to Melbourne and touring schools around the country to promote her music which she hopes will be a stepping stone into a rewarding career.
Natasha won the ACMF songwriting Competition and is now a proud Ambassador for them. Natasha has won the Teen Category of the ISC Competition 2011. She won a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA, USA.
