Biography
Meet Hello Midnight, an up and coming rock band hailing from New York City. While pulling influences from a myriad of musical styles, Hello Midnight has developed their own rock sound that is distinguished by a unique blend of catchy riffs, big, loud, driving choruses and honest lyrics.
Hello Midnight has currently finished recording an anticipated EP with engineer Oliver Palomares (http://www.myspace.com/oliverpalomares) and will be releasing it on Feed That Baby Records. The band plans to support the EP by touring through next year.
Hello Midnight on their music:
"We believe music is an expression of one's conflict with perception of the world. We try to demonstrate and express the moments that everyone experiences. Through our personal trials and failures we have created a body of work that is personal, yet accessible. We believe music should intrigue and excite the listener while creating a personal expression. Our music is an honest outlet that highlights pivotal events in one's life.
Different perceptions of one idea would be the greatest way to understand our song writing. The process from an idea to finish product is organic and comes across in our music. A typical Hello Midnight song goes through many stages as it passes from member to member, until the whole band is able to take a song and give it an identity. This process has given us - the band - new energy, which will be crucial in achieving our future goals: hitting the road, getting away from New York City gigs for a while, and enjoying opportunities to share our sounds and our stories with other cities."
