Fortunate enough to share the stage with the likes of (Gavin DeGraw / Hot Chelle Rae / Plain White T's / Michelle Branch / Snow Patrol / Chrissie Hynde - The Pretenders / Allen Stone / Mycle Wastman / Jared Lee / Matt Hires), IanJames is a product of Portland, Oregon, being raised in North Portland, IanJames full musical talent is continuing to blossom both on a local and national level. From humble beginnings, IanJames talent was cultivated through an appreciation of soulful and true music, and this is reflective in his personal musical stylings. Embracing numerous genres, IanJames' style encompasses all that is good with music. While performing, one can hear every one of his influences ( i.e. Michael Jackson,Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Craig David etc.). IanJames is all about the music and leaves no genre unheard. IanJames has been able to fuse all of that music into a funky, acoustic soul energy toe tapping experience listeners can truly enjoy. His personal composition of original music, rocks the house usually leaving listeners in awe and wanting more. Lending his hand to aid children, IanJames was a featured musician the YMCA in New York lending his talent to a benefit children's music programs. Even with a mounting resume’ of success, IanJames remains determined, approachable and humble.
