Artist Information
Biography
The Engravers is an NYC-based hard rock trio. Their music is inspired and influenced by progressive rock artists such as Porcupine Tree, Rush and Oceansize, as well as sounds from the grunge scene of the early 1990s, with bands such as Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots. Incorporating into their music everything from hard rock grooves laced with sprawling ambient textures, to mainstream acoustic hooks and odd time signatures, the band continually experiments by pushing its sound into new territories.
