Biography

At a Tim Gilday show audience members sing along to his songs. The hooks and big choruses in Tim's music are instant sing-alongs. At his one man acoustic shows the audience becomes his background singers and the harmonies. It makes for a good time for all.

Tim recorded a solo acoustic EP- "Acousticology" at Don Casale Studios in 2010. He has a new full band CD- "Raining In New York" which was released in December 2011. Several of the songs have received radio play at a number of college radio stations already!

In the spirit of continuing to move forward Tim is presently laying down tracks for another full band CD.

All Tim's music needs is exposure. Tim is actively seeking opportunities for widespread exposure for his music. He is open to his songs being recorded by others and for use of his music in TV, Movies, Plays, Theatre, Radio, Internet Campaigns and Commercials.

Tim is constantly testing his latest new songs at his regular shows at Caffe Vivaldi in NYC's Greenwich Village. This prolific songwriter and performer is destined to be heard one way or another. Perhaps you can play a part in the process and share in the success!

He has a grasp on the music and his rugged powerful voice is the perfect pitch to his hard-hitting lyrics. A man of many talents Gilday's music will certainly win you over.
  
  The verdict after listening to his latest effort is that Gilday is in his own element, and it shows with his LP, GILDAY. What makes Gilday entertaining is that he makes what he does seem effortless. A true professional; Gilday's love for music is easily shown in his LP. I enjoyed listening to each track and feel that this one should not be overlooked.

The band itself is top-notch, playing a brand of pop/Americana that is pleasing to the ear. Check out Raining In New York, one of the more commercially viable songs on the album. Other highlights include My Own Song; The Time Has Come; Hold On and Fire In My Eyes.
  
  Gilday has a great sound that moves back and forth between rock and country while touching all points in between. He has an eccentric sound that will be instantly memorable.
