Biography
Birthed on the politically-active Northern California coast in 2002, The Human Revolution has been bringing a message of freedom, food sustainability, and awakened spirituality to their powerful live shows for almost a decade. Front man and singer-songwriter Human, who’s roots can be found in culturally-rich Appalachian region of the United States, is often dubbed “the Bob Dylan for his generation” attesting to his deeply introspective lyrics, and ability to present ideas and solutions through his songs. The music is Americana at its best. It’s Willie Nelson meets Stevie Wonder meets the Grateful Dead and it works. The band boasts a catalog of over a hundred original songs and one never really knows what they might pull out of the archive. Adding force to the band is guitarist Jeff Pevar. A founding member of the band CPR, Jeff has performed with everyone from Ray Charles to Warren Haynes and brings a magic to his playing that few are lucky enough to touch. Add in the fiddle, the bass and the drums and you’ve got The Human Revolution.
Guests and former members of The Human Revolution lineup have included members of Willie Nelson’s band, Gene Parsons, Roger Fritz, David and Jessica Lea Mayfield, and MC Radioactive to name a few. The band just finished recording their seventh studio release “Small Town,” introducing what Human call’s “organic country music, music for small farmers and lovers everywhere. “ and will be touring the US, Central America, Europe, and Asia in 2012.

Setlist
Our shows are generally tailored toward the audience and the occassion, we have about 60 original songs in our repertoire and do our best to change the set every night so that each performance is unique and memorable, occasionally tossing in a cover or two. We are comfortable playing from an hour and a half to 2 and a half, with at least one break on a set over 1 and a half hours.
